BEIJING, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Hosts China beat Canada 11-3 for a second straight win of the 2007 International Goalball Tournament at the Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium here on Friday.

    On the second day of the tournament, China who made a major upset by beating the world champions Lithuania 8-4 Thursday, overpowered the traditional strong side with their tight defense and flexible tactics to win its second match of the Group A.

    After a close first half, China took every chance to attack and continuously scored for a 9-2 lead until Canada counterattacked and scored its third goal.

    Later China are to play against Denmark for the top place of the Group.
