(Beijing, Spetember 15)-The Quarterfinals of the 2007 International Goalball Tournament were held in the morning. In the third match, the two participants are Lithuania, the second place in Group A and Japan, the third place in Group B. As a result, Lithuania defeat Japan with 7-1 and advanced to the top 4.

Lithuania, as the champion of the 2006 World Goalball Tournament, is a strong team. Japan is a team which made progess rapidly.The communication and cooperation among the members are very good and the speed and defense are their advantage. After the beginning, Japan made very good defense. However the Lithuania still made three goals in the first to lead with 3-1.

In the second half, though Japan changed two players, they still failed to defense the Lithuania'saffense. At last, they were defeated by the Lithuania with 7-1.
