Comments from the coaches after the FIN-JPN game

Beijing, September 16 – Comments from coaches and athletes of Finland and Japan after their classification of 7/8 places match.

Timo Kalevi Laitinen (Coach of FIN)

On Finland’s second loss to Japan in four days:

"We didn't have any special plans against Japan because we have very young players and we are here only to learn. I have learnt much."

On itinerary:

"We will go back to Finland right after the game. We don't have much time here now, but we are sure to come back next year."

Toni Alenius (FIN)

On his visit to China:

"Chinese food impressed me most."

On next year's Paralympics:

"Our team will come here next year for the 2008 Paralympic Games, but I don't know whether I will come. I hope I can."

Shinji Mizuno (Coach of JPN)

On two matches against Finland:

"We won the first match because of luck. This time we studied them, planned different tactics, and won by five goals."

On his emotions after yesterday's loss to Denmark:

"Because we prepared for that match but lost, and Denmark is a strong team, so I felt very sad." (Mizuno was close to tears.)
