The batfish-shaped Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium is the representative structure on the school's campus. From afar, the gymnasium's unique wave-like rooftop gives the impression of a gigantic batfish.

From September 13-16, the Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium will host the Good Luck Beijing 2007 International Goalball Tournament, in which Goalball athletes from China, Lithuania, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, the United States, Japan, and Finland will compete.
